If we stick to the definition of persuasion I gave above, persuasion is really about you doing the best job to demonstrate that you do understand the subconscious frustration in the customer’s brain and that you are the sole solution for the frustration removal.

In the customer journey persuasion should be perceived as the ultimate simplification of the decision process.
