Persuasion is a dangerous word! It can either mean you force the brain to reach a decision it doesn’t want to (which is very difficult and unethical) or, and this is the one I prefer, you try to demonstrate to that same brain that you understand its frustration and will be the only one removing it with a real gain.
If you do the subconscious frustrations research properly, with physiological reaction analysis tools, and have what it is required to remove that frustration, then the “YES!” decision will be reached, and action will follow.
Be aware that before action takes place there will be rationalisation: Decision -> Rationalisation -> Action
The rationalisation process can last a millisecond or years, depending of the domain you are in.
